Study Day 2019

The Annual Study Day, jointly held with the Scottish Church Society, will be on

Ordination and Presiding at Holy Communion

on Thursday 31st October 2019

at

St Leonard’s-in-the-Fields, Marshall Place, Perth.

This year the Church of Scotland’s General Assembly adopted a resolution to develop proposals for ordination to a form of the ministry of Word and Sacrament shaped by the context of the emerging Church.

Contributors will be:

• Rev Dr Marjory MacLean, Abernyte, Inchture, Kinnaird, and Longforgan
• The Rt Rev Ian Paton, Bishop of St Andrews, Dunkeld and Dunblane
• Rev Dr John McPake, the Church of Scotland’s Ecumenical Officer
• Rev David D Scott minister at Traprain
• The Very Rev Dr Gilleasbuig Macmillan, KCVO

Cost £20 payable on the day. Lunch will be provided.
